I work with project from my office and home. I run project std 2007 at both.
When I try to email a file to my work I cant open it. I tried to email it to
myself and experience the same problem. When I have finished my project and
save it, it is always saved in Adobe reader format. Any help would be
appreciated.

That should not be the case. I wonder if perhaps your computer is encrypting
it or something...?
I presume you do not have the same experience with Office documents?

Probably you just have wrong file extension association which opens Adobe
reader for *.mpp files?

As Denis suggests, I'd check the file association in Windows. Be sure *.mpp
points to MS Projectd instead of Adobe Reader.
If that is not the case, the only other place to look in Project is
Tools/Options/Save (tab) and check the file type there. However, that should
never show you pdf as an option.

Yes, these are possible and they do exist... Your question is?
If you wish to create such a macro yourself, you may want to repost to the
developer newsgroup. Here is some general guidence
Public Sub xxx()
Dim t As Task
Dim counter As Integer
counter = 0
For Each t In ActiveProject.Tasks
If ((t.Milestone = True) And( t.Summary = False)) Then
counter = counter + 1
Next t
MsgBox (counter)
End Sub
This is off the top of my head, so please check the syntax, etc.
If you have external links in your file, add the test t.ExternalTask=False

New Project permission for Executives Project Hi, Project Server 2007: Could confirm or not that the "New Project" permission (in the Global permissions, Project section) for the Executives group, allows the Executives to create a new project, but not to save it ? In fact I want to limit the Executives group to projects containing several sub-projects, but I want to prevent them from saving any sub-project. Thanks for your help. PServer 2003 timesheet approval not following organizational RBS. Project Dear all, I have the following situation with a Project server 2003ndeployment. The Timesheet approval is not following the organizational structure defined in the RBS Org.ProjectX.TeamX.Member When Team members submit a timesheet, approval goes directly to the project owner. Neither to the Resource Manager (with a RBS = ORg.ProjectX.TeamX) nor to the PM (unless he is the project owner). Any ideas what else I should check? I tried creating a parallel RBS: Test ProjectX.TeamX.Member Created a new project with new resources that belong to this parallel structure. Project owner is the Administrator. Project leader is defined in the RBS. With but had the same results, approval goes to the Administrator user. Any feedback or pointers are welcome.
